I'M KATE
I’m the owner and artist behind all the beautiful signs at Kate Slayton Lettering, based in Annapolis, where I live with my husband and our doodle. My love for creating and designing started early, and while planning our wedding, I taught myself lettering to design our own signage. In September 2018, Kate Slayton Lettering was born as a boutique sign and design lettering shop. When I’m not crafting signs, you’ll find me enjoying time with my husband, sipping coffee, decorating our home, or diving into other creative projects!
MY FAMILY
Meet my husband, Kevin! We've been together for 11 years and married for 6. We tied the knot on June 30, 2018, which also happens to be my parents' and great-grandparents' anniversary (yes, it was planned!). Just outside Annapolis, we call a cozy little beach cottage home, where we live with our crazy golden doodle, Cali Dune. Kevin works as a neurosurgical PA and helps me with Kate Slayton Lettering on his days off. If you're local to Annapolis, you might just spot us around town!
